Unlike the Nokia 6700 Classic the 6700 Slide runs on Nokia's series 60 symbian software which therefore makes it far more flexible in terms of updating and adding applications as and when they become available.

It's a 3.5G device and is therefore mighty quick off the mark when it comes to downloading and uploading web content and as it's quad band it can be used virtually anywhere in the world.

The 5Mp camera has the added benefit of having Carl Zeiss optics for that superior shot and LED flash too.

Memory on the 6700 Slide isn't an issue as it comes with 45Mb internal that can be upped to the now standard 16Gb via the microSD slot.

It'll fit happily into any shirt pocket or small handbag too as it measures just 95.2 x 46.1 x 15.9 mm and tips the scales at a mere 110g.
